آمد بهار عاشقان تا خاکدان بستان شود           آمد ندای آسمان، تا مرغ جان پران شود

The springtime of Lovers has come, that this dust bowl may become a garden; the proclamation of heaven has come, that the bird of the soul may rise in flight."

Dear Ambassadors and Permanent representatives,

My esteemed Iranian compatriots,

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Happy Nowruz as the renewal of nature and a reminder of hope to all of you.

 Distinguishes Guests, 

Nowruz is a great momentum for the renewal of our common long-lasting values and promoting our commitment to make a better and prosperous world for all. 

 Nowruz is the symbol of the blossoming and emerging. Wheat, barley, or lentil sprouts are also at the heart of Nowruz as we see in HAFT-SIN. We can seize on it as an opportunity to reinvent ourselves, and to advance. Hand in hand we can showcase our solidarity toward development and well-being for our nations among other peoples of the world.  

 Nowruz is also the emblem of greenness. Nowruz is oriented towards the affirmation of life in harmony with nature and respectful attitude towards natural sources of life.

Inspired by Nowruz, the ties among peoples would be able to be strengthened based on mutual respect and the ideals of peace and good-neighborliness. 

 May the spirit of Nowruz bless our world with peace and happiness!

 May the spirit of Nowruz live on throughout the years ahead!

 May God have mercy on our deceased, especially our Turkish and Syrian brothers and sisters who lost their lives in the recent earthquake!

 Thank you all once again for making this year’s Nowruz a special occasion for us by attending on the joint celebration. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my dear ambassador Galib and his team in the Permanent Missions of Azerbaijan whose coordination and cooperation were instrumental in organizing this celebration.
