Thank you Mr. President,

We take note of the report by the Special Rapporteur, which sheds a glaring light on the dire situation in Palestine and exposes some of the atrocities committed by the occupying forces in just the past 5 months.

Considering what has transpired in the past 75 years, the appalling and horrific conditions imposed on the people of the occupied Palestine by the occupying forces will be more unimaginable.

It is not surprising that occupiers, in their attempt to solidify their occupation and presence in the West Asia region, resort to any form of atrocities and violations of international law and human rights against the people of Palestine and the region.

They delude themselves into thinking that by continuing these crimes and as time passes, they can establish themselves as neighbor in this region. However, occupation with a 75-year history of atrocities can never be deemed worthy of the name "neighbor" and never will be.

 

Madam Special Rapporteur,

 

In your recent reports, you have pointed out that the occupying forces continue unabated frustration of the right to self-determination of the Palestinian people and do not allow any part of this right to be realized. In your opinion, what effective and immediate measures can the international community take to expedite the realization of this right for Palestinians?
