Mr. President,
Iran welcomes the delegation of Liberia and commends its continued engagement in the UPR process. We take note of the We take note of Liberia’s launch of the ARREST Agenda for Inclusive Development.
In a spirit of constructive dialogue, the Islamic Republic of Iran offers the following recommendations:
Expand access to social protection programs, particularly for women, children, and persons with disabilities.
Continue strengthening and effectively implementing the legal and institutional framework to protect children from exploitation and child labor.
Ensure effective implementation of the five-year national development program aimed at improving living standards, with emphasis on social welfare and healthcare.
Increase support for school feeding programs and child welfare initiatives to enable more children to thrive.
Strengthen training and resources for community health workers to enhance access to essential health services.
Iran encourages Liberia to continue its efforts to advance social development and promote the well-being of all its people.
We wish Liberia a successful review.
