Mr. President,
My name is Fatemeh Zahra Sheikhabadi.
I am a student at Shajareh Tayyebeh School in Minab.
Today, I stand here to share my story.
The story of a child who, similar to every other child, wanted to go to school, learn, and play with her friends.
On the morning of 28th February, I thought it would be an ordinary day.
I picked up my schoolbag and went to school. I played with my friends, and we were happy together.
Suddenly, my school was attacked by the United States and Israel in two separate attacks.
I saw my friends, my teachers, and everyone I loved loseing their lives. I witnessed scenes that no child should ever have to see.
I have heard that the United Nations stands for the protection of children’s rights.
I, Fatemeh Zahra Sheikhabadi, a survivor of the Minab school attack, ask the representatives of the countries to hear the voices of the children of Minab. Stand with us and hold the United States and Israel accountable.
Thank you.
