Mr. President,

Iran welcomes the delegation of the Republic of Belarus to the fourth cycle of the UPR and thanks for the presentation of its national report.

My delegation commends the measures taken to support the Belarusian people in the face of UCM pressure.

In the spirit of constructive cooperation, we would like to make the following recommendations:

First- Continue to take measures at the national and international levels to protect traditional family values, including through the work of the Group of the Friends of the Family.

Second- Continue to adopt policies and programs with a view of ensuring the sustainable development and well-being of population.

We wish the delegation of the Republic of Belarus a successful review.
