History
The first written documents available in the history of the area from the country indicate that Isfahan was known in the first century AD from the most famous parts of the country to the "Sepanga". In the map that Ptolemy portrayed 100 years after the world, the name "Spdana" is located in the present place of Isfahan.

Geography
