Statement by   Ms. Neda Alikhani  Representative of the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva before  50th Session of the UPR Working Group Review of Jamaica Geneva, 11 November 2025 *****  بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم Mr. President, Iran welcomes the delegation of Jamaica and commends its continued engagement in the UPR process. We note the measures undertaken by the Government to advance the promotion and protection of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. In the spirit of constructive dialogue, Iran offers the following recommendations: Strengthen the protection of labor rights by ensuring fair wages, safe working conditions, and effective mechanisms to address workplace discrimination and exploitation. Promote the protection of children’s rights by preventing child labor, ensuring access to quality education, and providing adequate support for vulnerable children and families. We wish Jamaica a successful review. Thank you --
