Statement by   Ms. Neda Alikhani  Representative of the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva before  50th Session of the UPR Working Group Review of Honduras  Geneva, 7 November 2025 ***** بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم  Mr. President, Iran welcomes the delegation of Honduras and commends its continued engagement in the UPR process. We note the measures undertaken by the Government to advance the promotion and protection of civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. In the spirit of constructive dialogue, Iran offers the following recommendations: Strengthen protection of indigenous and Afro-descendant peoples, ensuring collective land rights and effective participation.  Adopt a human rights–based approach to climate policies, whit particular attention to rural and coastal communities. Reinforce social protection, education, and health systems, and promote jobs for women and youth. We wish Honduras a successful review. Thank you ----
